The Cellists of the Future – Skåne's First Cello Orchestra

This Sunday morning begins with a series of performances by both advanced students and professional musicians. Experience the rich sound and variety of the cello in everything from quartets to ensembles with up to 12 cellists on stage, where precision and passion meet in perfect harmony.

In the second half of the concert we make history in Skåne when over 50 cellists – from children
as young as 10 years old to adult amateurs – unite in a magnificent cello orchestra.
Together, they perform accessible and joyful pieces that will captivate
both heart and mind. This will be a concert to remember, a celebration of the power of music to
bringing generations together and creating something bigger than ourselves.
